How to make a circle time| Learning board| Calender for Preschoolers and Kindergarten

 Assalamualaikum! Everyone in this Blog post I will be  sharing how you can teach your kids read a calendar during circle time. So a Learning board helps teach kids more about the daily and basic routine like 

Days of the week,Months of the year, date, seasons and weather.

We teach them on a daily basis so I assembled a board for my kids which I made on my own and I will be  sharing all the related pdf with you so that you can assemble them on 1 board.

How to organize your self step wise you can categorize each subject according too your childs understanding and always goes step wise

The things I use are :
🖊coloured pens
🗒 Sticky Notes
📝 A planner 

📍Why do I use coloured gel pens ? 

I Categorize each subject with a coloured pen so that I can individually separate each subject and it will help me take notes on the sticky notes and now the next step that why do i use the sticky notes 

📍Why do I use the Sticky Notes ? 

Okay so now you will understand that why using gel pens are helpful, you can also use markers if you want but categorizing each subject with colour coding helps me with something I haven't done on a particular day

Like:

On Tuesday or Wednesday I couldn't or was not able to finish any topic I will take a sticky note ( colour) of that subject which i used with a gel pen stick on the next day and the next day when I open the plan for the day I will see the sticky carry forward on that day 

Like this in the picture,this way you are organized and once you are done you will remove the sticky note which will keep you updated and also keep your planner neat and clean aswell.

Try to follow the planner according too what you desire the most and make sure to use sticky notes when you want too carry forward and write notes of the planner make sure too revise the previous topics of the previous day

Too make a fun indoor activity I took a cardboard and put a sequence of colours on them with color markers and took coloured clips with it and instructed my toddlers to follow the color matching on that cardboard, they were focused on this entire activity they had to make sure they clipped the correct color on that board , this activity helped them too learn colors also the sequence and focus aswell.

Rainy day craft ideas| preschool weather activities and craft|Rainday craft for toddlers. #craftday

Things used for this  Rainyday art and craft:
- 2 straws
- Marker
- Pencil
- Wool
- Bowl
- A-4 size papers ( yellow,white and blue)

Rainyday craft ideas

Step#1: cut the straws in to small shapes and make sure to take 2 straws to increase the amount of rain drops on the page

Preschool weather activities and craft

Step#2 : Draw and cut the clouds and paste it on the paper, giving the 3D effect with the help of a folded  paper at the back of the cloud which pops out the cloud

Step#3: Paste the straws on the paper on a finger space distance so that both the straws can be utilized on the paper, you can use any colour you want I used yellow colour to differentiate in between the paper colour and the Rain drops that gives the concept of raindrops ( Rainyday)

Step#4: cut the wool according to the length of the paper then put the glue underneath the cloud and paste the wool, make sure the wool doesn't come out of the clouds, there should be enough glue so during the activity when the wool is pulled out of the straws the wool doesn't come out of it...

Step#5: Then do the activity with your toddler this activity increases the motorskill of your toddler and increases their focus and helps him understand how to pull out the wool form the straws

Motorskill activities 

It took the toddler enough too understand the concept of how will he/ she pull the wool out of the straws, alot of help was given in the first round

Once the toddler learned the concept of the activity he did all of it on his own, and later did all of it on his own with no help needed

This activity helped him increase his motorskill as pulling out wook from the straws as it has less space then expected, it was a great was to improve this motor skills

We have shapes around us, our body has different shapes aswell, let's learn shapes with these 3 ways:

1- Craft stick challenge cards: 

few flashcards were displayed and kids copied that shapes with the #handsonactivity I.e popsicle sticks and learned corners and sides of teach shapes

2- Making 2d shapes with toothpicks:

making shapes with toothpick was an interesting part for the toddlers especially when they learned sides and corners with the dough, they joined all the corners one by one it was an interactive session for the children.

3- Having fun with shapes activities on aķin educational Toy which helped them learn the colors and shapes and also the animals names on the toy, these are activities for preschoolers and for homeschooling aswell.
